As Founder of Education Boutique, I’ve built a national provider of in-person, specialist tutoring and alternative provision, supporting children unable to access school due to medical, psychological or complex needs.

In 2021, Education Boutique was acquired by The Eteach Group, a pivotal moment that saw us grow our network of tutors to an industry-leading pool of over 30,000. 

Personally, my own work as a tutor and educational consultant sees me supporting some of the most influential families in the world with bespoke education.

At the heart of both is the same principle: education should meet the learner exactly where they are.

I’m a proud Mancunian who now lives and works in deepest, darkest South Shropshire with just my family (husband, two furry feral people and a cat), tractors and a load of sheep for company. 

I began Katie Stone PA in the first lockdown of 2020 and rebranded to Elevated Support Ltd in 2024, and we've been helping education businesses with their boring business admin ever since!

 My happy place is in systems - whether it's setting up email marketing automations, mapping client journeys or integrating systems. I love a project, me!

I'm an international education strategist and former Head of English who now helps tutors and service providers build globally recognised businesses into the premium market. 

With years of experience working alongside Chinese families, educational agents and top UK boarding schools, I specialise in premium positioning and cross-cultural communication.

I am passionate about helping other educators achieve the same level of success and freedom that tutoring on my terms has given me. 

At Aster Academy, I share my proven strategies and comprehensive knowledge, empowering tutors to build thriving, international tutoring businesses and gain the confidence to nurture, grow, and flourish in the global market. 

I'm the winner of Tutor of the Year in 2024, am a qualified teacher with a Masters in Education who hosts the popular educational podcasts ‘TandTeaching’ and ‘Tutoring Tips’. 

I have also spoken on BBC Radio 2 about the tutoring industry and am a regular speaker at educational and tutoring conferences. 

Since 2022, I've been delivering training for tutoring groups & organisations across the country, as well as in the US.

Away from tutoring, I'm a keen runner, podcast listener and Radio 2 & 4 devotee. But I love nothing more than sunny mornings down the park with my young family.
